Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Franklin County will host a continuing instruction course for commercial pesticide applicators on Wednesday, December 10. The training will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Franklin County Extension office at 6 2nd Street Northwest in Hampton.
The course provides recertification credits for applicators in General Household Pest, Termite, Community Insect and Public Health categories. Topics will include pesticide use and environmental safety, formulation and label updates, and pest management practices.
Preregistration is required by December 3. The fee is $70 through the preregistration deadline and increases to $85 afterward. Walk-ins will only be admitted if space is available.
