
The Dumont City Council will meet in regular session Thursday night at the Dumont EMS Building. The agenda includes updates from Hampton-Dumont High School Principal Matt Trosky and Industrial Technology Teacher Jared Ites on the bus barn shelter project. Butler County Auditor Leslie Groen is also scheduled to brief the council on recent election results.
Public Works Director Juan Montalvo will provide updates about the possible purchase of a 2007 International dump truck, and the potential sale of the city’s 1983 dump truck. He’ll also discuss tree trimming progress and fence installation at the lagoon.
The council will hear updates on cemetery cameras as well as building, deck, fence, sidewalk, and parking area permits.
A lengthy list of nuisance properties will be reviewed for further action, including sites on Sunnyside Avenue, Montrose Avenue, Pine Street, and others.
