
Franklin County Family Focus has announced their 2025 highlights, showcasing the many ways they worked together to strengthen families and the community this year. Throughout 2025, they partnered with local organizations to promote family engagement, child safety, mental health awareness and school readiness.
Key achievements included 131 entries in the Child Abuse Prevention Month coloring contest, over 500 attendees at family movie nights, 50 students participating in Mental Health Awareness Week activities and 300 backpacks distributed during the Back to School Giveaway. Through the Share the Warmth Campaign, more than 300 coats, hats and gloves were provided to families in need.
ISU Extension and Outreach Program Coordinator Lili Velasco shared, “Franklin County Family Focus is grateful for their partners and families who make these programs possible. Together, they are creating a stronger, more connected Franklin County.”
