
Iowa drivers are seeing slightly lower fuel prices this week. According to AAA, the statewide average for regular unleaded fell 5 cents to $2.76 per gallon, which is also 5 cents lower than a year ago. The national average remains at $3.08.
GasBuddy reported Thursday morning (Nov. 13) that regular unleaded was priced at $2.88 in Hampton, $2.84 in Iowa Falls, and $2.74 in Parkersburg.
Diesel prices in Iowa rose 17 cents this week, averaging $3.76 per gallon, the same as the national average. A year ago, diesel was $3.31 statewide.
Crude oil prices also dipped, with West Texas Intermediate down $1.40 to $58.76 per barrel and Brent crude falling to $62.99.
