Clarion Police Investigate Vandalism at Lions Park

The Clarion Police Department is investigating a vandalism incident reported Tuesday afternoon at Lions Park. Police responded to the park around 1:30 p.m. after receiving a report that juveniles were causing damage in the park.

Clarion Police Chief Steve TerHark tells RadioOnTheGo News that three juveniles, two males and one female were located and it was determined they were attempting to break into a locked bathroom. Terhark says the estimated damage is around $500. 

All three juveniles who are from Eagle Grove were charged with possession of alcohol under age and possession of tobacco under age. Chief TerHark says additional charges related to the property damage are pending.
