The Hardin County Board of Supervisors moved through a full agenda Wednesday.
The Supervisors approved the appointment of Gerald Echelberry as a driver for the Veterans Transport Service. County staff noted the federal onboarding process for volunteer drivers can take up to three months and said demand for rides remains high.
The board also approved two resolutions. Melissa Behrens was appointed as Election Assistant and Real Estate Clerk in the Hardin County Auditor’s Office. Additionally, the board certified the second-tier canvas of the November 4 city and school elections.
In other business, supervisors approved the annual landfill financial guarantee shared with Butler County, and a utility permit for Interstate Power and Light to bore under S-62 near Gifford for transformer installation.
