Waldorf freshman middle hitter and Aplington-Parkersburg alum Peyton Klooster has earned Great Plains Athletic Conference all-conference recognition. She was named to honorable mention status by the league.
She finished the season with 1.68 kills per set and a hitting percentage of .262. Head Coach Bri Ebenhoe said that Klooster is a fearless competitor and never backed down from the challenge of GPAC matches, and that her work ethic and ability to take over a match means that she is deserving of the recognition.
Klooster appeared in each match this season, and the team went 11-13.
