
The Rowan City Council will meet Monday, Dec. 1, at the Rowan Community Center, where members are scheduled to review street maintenance needs, abandoned properties and several ongoing community issues.
The agenda includes discussion of county maintenance on city streets and two abandoned properties at 135 Main and 138 Main.
Items under old business include updates on the outdoor classroom project, an upcoming soup supper, septic matters, nuisance abatement and building permits.
The council is also scheduled to enter a closed session to discuss strategy with legal counsel regarding ongoing or imminent litigation, as allowed under Iowa law.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
