The Belmond City Council will meet Monday night with a public hearing scheduled on a major loan agreement.
The council will hold a hearing on authorizing a loan agreement and issuing up to $2.4 million in General Obligation Capital Loan Notes. Following the hearing, members will consider Resolution 2025-32, which would begin the process for taking additional action on the loan issuance.
Under new business, the council will take up Resolution 2025-34, which would provide the city’s local contribution for the 2026 Community Attraction and Tourism Grant.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. tonight at Belmond City Hall.
