The Iowa Falls-Alden boys basketball team fell 54-35 at West Marshall Monday to begin its season.
The Cadets couldn’t find much momentum from the start, and trailed 30-12 at halftime. Despite a much better offensive performance in the second half, they were unable to slow down the Trojans defensively. Colin Pieper led with 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Karsen Kalous added 11 points.
They’ll return to action Thursday by hosting South Hamilton.
