
The Rockwell City Council met Wednesday night and approved a series of routine items, including monthly bills across multiple departments.
Council members also voted to move forward with adding security cameras through Astra Security at a designated location and at the Community Center. They also tabled discussion on vacancy tax fines.
Public Works staff reported on equipment needs, including replacement tires for a pickup and tractor. The council directed staff to gather bids and pricing for future consideration. Members also discussed LED stop signs damaged in a recent storm, and staff were directed to look for replacements.
Mayor Wentz noted that upcoming budget discussions may include revisiting council and mayor compensation.
