
The Wright County Board of Supervisors will meet Monday, Dec. 8 in the courthouse board room. The board will take up several funding requests and routine business items throughout the morning.
The City of Belmond will appear before the board to request support for a Community Attraction and Tourism (CAT) grant tied to improvements at the Belmond Pool. Supervisors are expected to review and act on Resolution 2025-35 related to the request.
Julie Edwards with Upper Des Moines Opportunity (UDMO) is scheduled to provide the agency’s annual update and request funding for fiscal year 2027.
Supervisors will also receive a monthly report from the Wright County Sheriff.
The board will also consider additional funding for the Heart of Iowa Regional Trust Fund, followed by a Secondary Roads update from County Engineer Adam Clemons.
