The Hardin County Board of Supervisors will meet Wednesday morning in the courthouse large conference room, taking action on several administrative and budget-related items.
Supervisors will consider moving their Dec. 24 meeting to Dec. 23 due to the Christmas holiday. The board will also review a proposal allowing the chair to cancel a scheduled meeting with at least 24 hours’ notice, as permitted under Iowa Code.
The agenda includes setting the time and date for a public hearing on amendments to the fiscal year 2025-26 county budget. Supervisors are also scheduled to consider a resolution that would certify utility, gas and electric valuations for the 2026-27 fiscal year.
Board members are also expected to act on a change of status for Lyndsay Hamm in the Sheriff’s Department.
The meeting is set to begin at 9 a.m.
