
The Belmond City Council will meet Monday to consider several financial and infrastructure items.
Council members are expected to act on resolutions related to the issuance of $5.13 million in General Obligation Capital Loan Notes, including approval of loan agreements, tax levy provisions, and required disclosure and tax exemption certificates. The council will also consider a resolution appointing a paying agent, note registrar, and transfer agent associated with the financing.
Additional new business includes approval of a 28E agreement with Wright County for road maintenance activities, a proposal to re-tin and insulate the public works shed and the adoption of updated rules and regulations for the Belmond Municipal Cemetery.
The Belmond City Council meeting begins Monday at 7:00 p.m. at city hall.
