Fire reported at Hampton business

Hampton Fire crews along with Hampton Police responded to Brothers Auto Sales at 123 4th St. SE just before 1 p.m. today after a fire was reported at the business.

Hampton Police Chief Mark Morrison tells RadioOnTheGo News that when crews arrived, the building was fully engulfed in flames and he believes the structure is a total loss. Morrison also says no injuries were reported as a result of the fire and at least three vehicles at the site were destroyed by the fire. 

The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.

Hampton Police Chief Mark Morrison tells RadioOnTheGo News that when crews arrived, the building was fully engulfed in flames. Morrison says he believes the structure is a total loss.

Morrison also says no injuries were reported and at least three vehicles at the business were destroyed by the fire.

Hampton Fire Chief Kent Wilkinson tells RadioOnTheGo News the cause of the fire remains under investigation as of late Monday afternoon. He also confirms the building will likely be a total loss.
