The Franklin County Board of Supervisors approved a nearly $956,000 budget amendment during its regular meeting Monday morning at the Franklin County Courthouse.
Supervisors unanimously approved Resolution 2025-75, which amends the fiscal year 2025–26 county budget. The amendment includes $100,000 for land acquisition by county conservation and more than $855,000 for administration expenses, including courthouse tuckpointing and electrical upgrades, a server upgrade and board legal fees. The amendment also reflects $16,000 in additional revenue.
The board opened and closed a public hearing on the amendment with no public comment.
Supervisors also approved several appointments, including Laurie DeGroot to the Board of Health through the end of 2028 and Tanner Miller to the Conservation Board through 2030.
In other business, the board approved a resolution authorizing the destruction of unvoted ballots from the September special election and the November city-school election.
