The Hardin County Board of Supervisors will meet Wednesday, Dec. 17, at the courthouse in Eldora.
The board will consider submitting a recommendation to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources regarding an animal feeding operation construction permit application for the South Tipton Ridge site in Tipton Township. Supervisors are also scheduled to consider the release of a mortgage.
Supervisors will also receive an update from the Iowa Floodplain and Drainage Advisory Council before opening the meeting to public comment.
Following the regular meeting, the board will hold a drainage meeting at 9:30 a.m., followed by an organizational meeting.
The meeting is set to begin at 9 a.m.
