The Iowa Association of Realtors says homes are staying on the market longer, while sale prices remain higher than a year ago.
The association says November data show the median sales price for Iowa homes has slowed slightly, while inventory remains strong statewide. Homes sold in November were on the market an average of 26 days, an increase of more than 18 percent from October.
The median sales price for an Iowa home was nearly $245,000 in November. That figure is slightly lower than October but nearly 7 percent higher than in November 2024.
