The West Fork boys and girls basketball teams will conclude the 2025 portion of their schedule by hosting Saint Ansgar in a Top of Iowa Conference East doubleheader on Friday.
The West Fork boys (0-3, 0-2 TIC-East) had their most competitive of the season to this point on Tuesday, falling 66-64 at home to Central Springs. Head Coach Abe Maske says execution is the core message entering the matchup.
“St. Ansgar is big, they’re physical. It’s just gonna be a different style of game, in some ways, how they play. It’s gonna come down to us really executing and doing the things that we need to do on both ends, offensively and defensively,” says Maske. “If we can execute, limit our mistakes and our turnovers, really look at the high percentage shots and be efficient, I like our chances on that Friday with St. Ansgar.”
