The Hardin County Community Endowment Foundation is now preparing for its 2026 grant cycle.
The foundation announced that grant applications for 2026 will be available beginning Jan. 1 on its website. Eligible nonprofit organizations may apply for funding through several grant opportunities, including the Schiller Fund, the Wilma Marie Meyer Fund, the County Endowment Fund and the Arts and Culture Endowment.
The Schiller Fund supports projects within the Iowa Falls-Alden Community School District, while the Wilma Marie Meyer Fund serves Iowa Falls, Alden and Ackley. The County Endowment Fund and Arts and Culture Endowment are available countywide, with the arts fund giving preference to live entertainment projects.
All grant applications must be submitted by 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026. The foundation’s grant team will review applications and notify applicants of funding decisions by March 18.
Grant awards will be presented during the foundation’s grant celebration event on April 9.
Since 2005, the Hardin County Community Endowment Foundation has awarded nearly $2 million in grants supporting projects across Hardin County.
