First Bank Hampton, on behalf of the A.M. Helen Saylor Foundation, has donated $5,000 to the Windsor Theatre as part of its end-of-year community giving.
Bank officials say the donation is intended to support local entertainment and community gathering spaces. The Windsor Theatre hosts a wide range of movies and special events throughout the year, including community programs such as the monthly Hoe Down.
First Bank Hampton Executive Vice President Bruce Harris says supporting local institutions is especially important during the holiday season, noting the theatre’s role in bringing people together from Hampton and surrounding communities.
The donation will help the Windsor Theatre continue offering programming for audiences of all ages, including seasonal performances and community-focused events.
