As the new year begins, 99 The Wave is welcoming a new voice and a new conversation to the airwaves. “Neighbors in the Nest,” a brand-new program from OnTheGoMedia, will premiere Tuesday, January 6th on 99 The Wave, 98.9 KQCR, Parkersburg.

Hosted by Dean Tancre, Sales Coordinator at Parker Place Retirement Community in Parkersburg, the show is designed to highlight local connections, stories and the people who make the community feel like home, while helping families gain clarity and guidance when making important long-term care decisions for their loved ones.

The first program airs Tuesday, January 6th and Tancre says the goal of “Neighbors in the Nest” is to help families understand their long-term care options and make informed decisions before an unexpected situation forces the issue.

“I’ve seen too many families wait until a crisis forces their hand. Not because they didn’t care, but because they didn’t feel confident navigating the process. My belief is simple. Clarity should come before urgency. Information should come before pressure, and support should come before decisions. This podcast is designed to slow the moment down so you can think clearly instead of reacting emotionally.”

The first episode of “Neighbors in the Nest” will air Tuesday, January 6th at 10:35 a.m., following the Heart of the Community on 99 The Wave, 98.9 KQCR. The program will continue to air each Tuesday on 99 The Wave and will also be available as a podcast at radioonthego.com.
