
The Clarksville City Council will meet Monday, Jan. 5, at 6:30 p.m. for its regular business meeting at City Hall.
Mayor correspondence items include committee assignments, nuisance properties, updates on Church Street and Ilgenfritz Street, a revision to the employee handbook, and a proposed ordinance change related to backyard chickens.
New business includes consideration of appointments Ashley Lorenz, Hayley Miller and Tiffany Landrum to the city’s ambulance crew and the approval of Layton Reints to the Clarksville Fire Department. The council will also consider mileage reimbursement for the mayor to attend Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments meetings.
Clerk reports will include budget worksheets, scheduling of a budget workshop, and approval of the 2025 employee wage report.
