Due to last weekend’s winter storm, the Wright County Board of Supervisors moved its regular Monday meeting to Friday, during which the board met in regular session. The board approved a 28E agreement between the county and the city of Clarion for county road maintenance inside the corporate limits of Clarion.
In other business, Ashley Bosch was appointed as board chairperson and Rick Rasmussen was appointed as chair pro-tem for 2026.
The board also received an update from the Wright County Fair Board. Fair Board Manager Tricia Rosendahl provided a recap of the 2025 fair and discussed plans for this year’s event, which will mark the 100th anniversary of the fair at its current location in Eagle Grove. This year’s fair is scheduled for July 7th–12th.
