Wright County Board of Supervisors sets Jan. 5 agenda

The Wright County Board of Supervisors will meet Monday morning, Jan. 5, at the Wright County Courthouse in Clarion.

During the meeting, supervisors are expected to set the county’s reimbursable mileage rate and drainage warrant interest rate for 2026, as well as designate official county employee holidays for the coming year. The board will also consider authorizing petty cash funds for county offices and appoint an Eminent Domain Compensation Commission.

Several annual appointments are on the agenda, including committee assignments, township trustees, official county newspapers, medical examiners, and members to various boards and commissions. Supervisors are also scheduled to consider a series of resolutions related to meeting attendance, claims payments, depositories, and noxious weed control.

Following the regular meeting, the board will convene as Drainage Trustees to address drainage claims.

The meeting is set to begin at 9 a.m. in the courthouse basement.
