The Wright County Board of Supervisors Monday took action on a number of organizational items during its regular meeting, approving appointments, resolutions and other measures tied to the start of the new calendar year.
Supervisors set the county mileage reimbursement rate at 70 cents per mile and approved the official list of county employee holidays for 2026.
The board also adopted several annual resolutions addressing routine county business. Those actions included policies related to attendance at meetings, authorization for the payment of claims prior to board meetings, and the designation of official depositories for the county treasurer, sheriff and recorder.
Additional resolutions approved Monday dealt with construction evaluation procedures and the county’s noxious weed control program, continuing existing practices into the new year.
