The Dumont City Council met in regular session Thursday and discussed issues with an approach at an alley between 712 and 720 Third Street with County Engineer John Riherd. Riherd informed the council that approach work in that area began Thursday.
Council meeting time and location was discussed. City council meetings will begin at 6:00 p.m. instead of 7:00 starting with February’s meeting.
The council set a budget workshop for February 5th at 6:00 p.m., discussed vacation and sick time per the personnel handbook and approved various mayoral and council appointments for the new year.
