
The Rockwell City Council met in regular session on Wednesday, Jan. 7.
Council members voted unanimously to table pricing proposals for electronic speed signs and stop signs, as well as a vacancy tax fine, citing the need for additional information.
Mayor Larry Wentz announced that new security cameras have been installed in two additional locations and are now fully operational. He also said the city is beginning its budget process and scheduled a finance committee workshop for Jan. 14.
The council approved 2026 committee appointments and agreed to continue meeting on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 5:30 p.m.
