Franklin County supervisors approved several courthouse-related items and zoning actions during their regular meeting Tuesday.

The board approved a quote from Midland Concrete Products for brick needed for the courthouse tuckpointing project. Supervisors also discussed the possibility of applying for a grant to help offset tuckpointing costs but decided not to pursue an application due to project timing and grant requirements.

Supervisors also approved a resolution adopting a permit application form for commercial wind energy conversion system conditional use permits, as required under the county’s zoning ordinance. The application will be available through the county’s Planning and Zoning Department and on the county website.

Other actions included approving agreements with NoRISC for fiscal year 2026, ArcaSearch for archiving 2025 board minutes, and an amended lease with Collaborative Individual & Community Supports for FY2026.

Supervisors also directed the county auditor to draft updates to employee auto insurance requirements for future consideration.

The meeting adjourned at 10:05 a.m. The board will next meet Jan. 20 for a budget workshop.
