
The Aplington City Council will meet Wednesday evening to address routine business items and hear several reports during its regular meeting at City Hall.
The council is expected to receive updates related to the city sander and Kinetic and Windstream fiber services. Department reports are also scheduled from police, fire, library, ambulance and pool officials.
New business items include a presentation from Greg Nevenhoven regarding the city’s 2025 dividend check from the Workers Compensation Safety Group, a tax increment financing report from Speer Financial and appointments by the mayor. Council members will also review updates related to certificates of deposit and savings accounts.
