The Hardin County Board of Supervisors will meet Wednesday morning (Jan. 21) at the courthouse in Eldora with several financial and administrative items on the agenda.
Supervisors are scheduled to consider approving an agreement of compromise and assignment related to a county tax sale certificate involving the city of Eldora. The board will also take up a possible action to rescind pay raises approved last week for positions in the Treasurer’s Office.
Other agenda items include approval of the county treasurer’s semiannual report and a utility permit request from Woolstock Mutual Telephone. Supervisors will also review and submit recommendations to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources on two animal feeding operation construction permit applications in Buckeye and Concord townships, and acknowledge receipt of a separate permit in Buckeye Township.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m., followed by a budget workshop at 9:30 and a drainage trustee election at 10:30.
