The Alden City Council will consider a mix of budget planning, intergovernmental agreements and park improvements when it meets Monday, Jan. 26.
The council is scheduled to take up a 28E agreement with the Alden–Grant Lee Township Fire Department. Several agenda items focus on budget planning for the 2026-27 fiscal year, including quotes for a front snowblower and a sander. Council members will also discuss Schiller grant-related items, as well as lifeguard staffing and other matters related to the Alden swimming pool.
Additional discussion items include proposed restroom floor and painting upgrades at the city park. The meeting begins at 5 p.m. at City Hall.
