
The Franklin County Board of Supervisors will meet Monday morning at the Franklin County Law Enforcement Center, with a full agenda focused on infrastructure, drainage projects and budget planning.
Supervisors will hear departmental updates from Secondary Roads Engineer Jay Waddingham and receive a fiscal year 2027 budget request from Access Incorporated. Multiple drainage district items are scheduled for action, including completion reports and final payment approvals for projects in Drainage District 30, along with permit applications for utility work by Alliant Energy.
Sheriff Aaron Dodd will ask for approval to use opioid settlement funding for the Sheriff App and will lead a discussion on the Sheriff’s Office fiscal year 2027 budget. Facilities Director Ryan Peterson will also discuss garage rental space.
New business includes discussion on builder’s risk insurance for the courthouse electrical upgrade project, outside funding requests for the FY2027 budget, and an appointment to the Franklin County Conservation Board.
