The Iowa Falls City Council held two public hearings Monday on proposed fiscal year 2026–2030 grant agreements with the Iowa Falls Chamber of Commerce/Main Street and the Iowa Falls Area Development Corporation.

No public comments were received. The council then approved resolutions allowing the city to move forward with both grant agreements.

In other business, the council denied a request to move the $100,000 Meyer donation into the fire department endowment fund, approved a $77,000 pay application to Steege Construction, Inc. for the Princess Rehab project, and made several appointments, including naming Roger Nissly as Mayor Pro-Tem and Bruce Thies to the housing committee.
