The 2026 Hardin County Republican Caucuses will be held Monday, Feb. 2, with registration beginning at 6 p.m. and caucuses starting at 7 p.m. at multiple locations across the county.

Caucus sites include Buckeye, Ackley, Hubbard, Eldora, New Providence and Iowa Falls, with precinct meetings hosted at schools, community buildings and civic centers.

Participants must be registered Republicans to take part. Attendees are also required to bring a valid form of identification, such as an Iowa driver’s license, Iowa voter ID card, U.S. passport, military ID or other approved ID.

Voters who plan to register at their precinct on caucus night must bring both a valid photo ID and proof of address, such as a utility bill, lease agreement, bank statement or government document.

During the caucuses, precincts will elect representatives to the Hardin County Republican Central Committee, select delegates and alternates to the county convention, and propose and vote on platform planks that will be sent to the Hardin County Republican Convention.
