
The Hardin County Board of Supervisors will meet Wednesday morning, Jan. 28, at the courthouse in Eldora, with budget matters and county operations headlining the agenda.
Supervisors will open the meeting at 9 a.m. with a public hearing on fiscal year 2025–26 budget amendments, followed by consideration of Resolution 2026-06 to amend county appropriations.
Other items include discussion and possible action on the construction of a parking lot north of the Hardin County Jail, acknowledgment of the Veterans Affairs second-quarter report for FY 2025–26, and personnel change-of-status items in the Sheriff’s Department involving Carter Halsey and Faith Stevenson.
Public comment is scheduled before adjournment, with the board then reconvening at 9:30 a.m. for its regular drainage meeting in the courthouse large conference room.
