Unverferth Manufacturing Company has received national recognition for agricultural innovation, with its Air Command™ Section Control System earning an AE50 Award from the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers.

The AE50 Awards honor the year’s most innovative products in agriculture, recognizing engineering advancements that deliver real-world impact. Unverferth’s Air Command technology was selected for improving fertilizer application accuracy while helping producers increase efficiency and reduce input costs.

Designed for Unverferth Pro-Force® dry fertilizer spreaders, the system allows operators to manage four independent spreader sections, improving control in irregular fields and around waterways and field boundaries.

Unverferth is based in Kalida, Ohio, and operates a manufacturing facility in Shell Rock.

The company will be formally recognized at the ASABE Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference Feb. 8–11 in Louisville, Kentucky.
