The Iowa Falls-Alden boys wrestling team will travel to Nevada on Thursday for a quad featuring Nevada, Roland-Story and Ogden.

The Cadets enter the meet after a seventh-place finish at the North Central Conference tournament on Saturday. Zane Gillespie claimed the NCC title at 120 pounds, while Kolbe Hansen placed second at 126. Gillespie enters the quad with a 28-4 record, Hansen is 27-8, Zach Smith is 24-7 at 113, and Jase Ites is 17-4 at 138.

With the postseason approaching, Head Coach Scott Patton said the emphasis is on consistency and daily improvement.

“Just keep taking steps forward,” Patton says. “We can’t afford, at this point in the season, to take steps back and maybe make mistakes we shouldn’t be making at this point of the season. We eliminate those little things and just get better each day.”

Nevada placed fifth at the Heart of Iowa Conference tournament on Monday. Isaac Williams is 25-3 at 190, and Austin Boege is 26-7 at 165.

Roland-Story won the Heart of Iowa Conference team title on Monday, with 10 wrestlers earning podium finishes. Caiden Latch is 27-3 at 144, and Chance Georgius is 26-8 at 190.

Ogden finished third at the 2026 Ogden Individual Tournament, with five wrestlers recording podium finishes. Ryder Eklund is 28-3 at 132, and Kinnick Munson is 25-5 at 138.

Action begins at 5:30 p.m.
