
The Grundy County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Monday, January 26.
The board approved a proclamation to make February teen dating violence awareness month in the county. The board approved a utility permit replacing the overhead electric on 215th Street East of B Avenue and a low fuel quote to Nutrien Ag. of Conrad.
In other business, the board approved the county treasurer be allowed one first deputy, one second deputy, one motor vehicle deputy, and one part-time driver’s license deputy within her office. Authorized to fill the positions effective January 26 included Tracy Beenken, first deputy treasurer, Jennifer Minteer, second deputy treasurer, Emily Albers, motor vehicle deputy and Carie Sparks, part-time driver’s license deputy.
