The Franklin County Board of Supervisors will hold a special session Friday morning to address employee compensation, health insurance costs and a major courthouse project.
One of the main items is a presentation from Assured Partners on fiscal year 2027 health insurance renewal rates, along with consideration of employee contribution rates for county health insurance.
Supervisors are also expected to consider a resolution amending the county’s classification and compensation administrative guidelines. Cost-of-living adjustments and step increases for fiscal year 2027, as well as compensation for elected officials, will be discussed.
Another key item on the agenda is approval of a construction contract and bond for repointing work at the Franklin County Courthouse.
The meeting is set to begin at 9 a.m. and will be streamed on the supervisors’ YouTube page.
