The IGHSAU has announced basketball playoff brackets for Classes 1A through 3A.
In 3A Region 3, Dike-New Hartford will host Hampton-Dumont-CAL for a first round game. In 3A Region 5, Iowa Falls-Alden will play at Roland-Story in the first round.
In 2A Region 1, West Fork will host a quarterfinal against East Marshall. Belmond-Klemme is in Region 2, and will play a quarterfinal at Pocahontas Area. Aplington-Parkersburg is in Region 4, and will host South Winneshiek for a quarterfinal. In Region 5, North Butler will host Central Springs in the first round, with the winner advancing to a quarterfinal at Emmetsburg. Clarion-Goldfield-Dows will play a Region 7 first round game at Manson-NW Webster, with the winner playing at West Lyon for a quarterfinal. #8 (2A) Grundy Center is the top seed in Region 8, and will host the winner of a first round game which features South Hardin hosting Union.
In 1A Region 2, Clarksville will host Northwood-Kensett for a first round game, with the winner traveling to Newman Catholic for a quarterfinal. In Region 5, AGWSR will play a first round game at GMG.
The playoffs will begin on Thursday, February 12.
