
The Greene City Council will address several budget, property and board appointment items during its regular meeting Monday.
Council members will consider forgiving sewer usage charges at the Baptist Church following a water leak and hear an update from Butler County Emergency Management Coordinator Chris Showalter.
The council will also discuss issues with the alley between 3rd, 4th, and East Rowley streets and hold a public hearing on an amendment to the fiscal year 2026 budget, followed by action on a resolution amending that budget.
Additional agenda items include setting a public hearing to dispose of property at 12 High School Boulevard, reviewing the proposed fiscal year 2027 budget and tax rate, and approving reappointments to the community center and library boards.
The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at the community center.
