The Sheffield City Council will meet in regular session Monday and will discuss the fiscal year 2027 TIF road project and take action on proposed DNR improvements at the city pits. Sidewalk and handicap parking needs at the city park, along with the cost of extending sidewalk to Casey’s, are also on the agenda.
New business includes discussion and approval of a new fiscal year 2027 fee schedule, along with a resolution setting a public hearing for the city’s fiscal year 2027 maximum levy.
The council will also consider approval of a community book house, review a new general journal entry software system, and vote on a related resolution for Banyon Data Systems. Additional items include advertising for seasonal pool and park staff and discussing the addition of personal protective equipment requirements to the employee handbook.
The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. at city hall.
