Emergency crews responded to a reported fire at Uthe’s Corner Repair in Dumont Saturday afternoon.
The Dumont Fire Department, Bristow Fire Department and the Dumont Ambulance were dispatched to the business at about 3:50 p.m.
Dumont Fire Chief Zach Lewis tells RadioOnTheGo News a heat exchanger caught insulation on fire, causing minor damage in the attic area of the building.
Crews were on the scene for about an hour to extinguish the fire and ensure it did not spread.
No injuries were reported.
