The IHSAA has announced basketball playoff brackets for Classes 1A and 2A.
In 2A District 2, 3-seed Clarion-Goldfield-Dows will host Eagle Grove for a first round game, with the winner advancing to take on 2-seed Sioux Central. Iowa Falls-Alden is the 6-seed in District 3, and will travel to Osage for a first round game. The winner will advance to take on Roland-Story. South Hardin is the 2-seed in District 4, and will host a district semifinal against the Greene County at Woodward-Granger winner.
#4 (2A) Grundy Center is the top seed in District 5, and will host a semifinal against the West Marshall at Pleasantville winner. In District 7, Dike-New Hartford will play a first round game at MFL MarMac. The winner will advance to top-seeded #7 (2A) Aplington-Parkersburg.
In Class 1A, Belmond-Klemme is the top seed in District 2. They’ll host North Iowa for a first round game. In the same district, 5-seed West Fork will travel to Lake Mills in the first round. In District 3, 4-seed North Butler will host Saint Ansgar for a first round game.
Clarksville is the 9-seed in District 4, and will play a preliminary round game at Tripoli. The winner will advance to a first round game at top-seeded Wapsie Valley. AGWSR is the 8-seed in District 14, and will host West Hancock for a preliminary round game. The winner will advance to top-seeded St. Edmond.
The playoffs will begin Friday, February 13.
