The West Fork basketball teams will host Osage for their regular season home finale on Tuesday. The Osage girls won 56-28 and the Green Devil boys won 58-38 in their first meeting on January 5.

The West Fork boys fell 65-61 at Newman Catholic on Monday. The scoring duo of Zander Hansen with 13.8 points and Ayden Bonner with 12 points per game leads the team. Head Coach Abe Maske highlights areas of the game the Warhawks need to execute building towards the postseason.

“This team plays its best when it talks on defense, works hard on defense, really steps up, is aggressive and then offensively we move the ball. When we take our time, we’re patient on offense, we get the defense going side to side, not only do we tend to find the right guy for the shots, we tend to be much more confident. We’re set to shoot and we’re making the right pass to the right shot,” says Maske. “If we can work on those things for our last three games and be even more consistent with it. We’ll be poised to make a nice run in the postseason.”

The Osage boys won a 67-52 at home over Nashua-Plainfield on Monday. Quinn Street paces the Green Devils with 23.5 points per game.

The West Fork girls fell 76-49 at Newman Catholic on Monday. The scoring trio of Zada Huff with 11.8 points, Brylee Dickman 10.4 points and Evie Hitzhusen with 10 points per game set the tone for the Warhawks. The Warhawks offense is aided by 10 assists per game (fourth most in the conference).

The Osage girls lost 40-28 at home to Nashua-Plainfield on Monday. Addison Marcks averages a double-double with 16.9 points and 11 rebounds per game. The Green Devils control the boards with 35 rebounds per game (second most in the conference).

Action will begin at 6:15 p.m. in Sheffield.
