Grundy County Board of Supervisors Feb.9 meeting recap

The Grundy County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Monday, February 9.

After receiving a report from County Engineer Jeff Skalberg, the board approved a utility permit for Black Hills Energy to install a natural gas pipeline along 290th St. After receiving a report from County Emergency Management Coordinator Chase Babcock, the board appointed Angela Silvey to the safety committee. After receiving a report from Custodian Butch Kuester, the board approved the installation of four cameras in the Annex Building.

In other business, the board approved a resolution setting fiscal year 27 salaries for elected officials. The board then approved a request for use of the courthouse grounds by the Grundy Center YMCA. To conclude the meeting the board approved new dental and vision coverage options from the Iowa Governmental Health Care Plan.
