
The Hampton City Council met in regular session Thursday night at City Hall.
During public comment, Marlene Tapp commended the Hampton Police Department, dispatchers and hospital staff for their professionalism during emergencies.
In new business, the council approved a request from Pro Wall Construction to block off seven parking spaces in front of the Long Term Medical Supply (LTMS) building located at 115 2nd Ave NW for a construction project.
The council also approved a work order from ISG for structural evaluation and potential build-out planning at the old Rick’s Pharmacy building located 4 and 6 First Street Northwest.
Council members approved a proposal from Callahan Municipal Consultants for goal setting services and authorized a Pay Application to Henkel Construction in the amount $64,305.44 for the Water Treatment Plant Improvements project.
