The Grundy Center City Council will meet in regular session Monday, Feb. 16.
On the agenda is action on a resolution that would authorize a pre-levy of the 2020 Street Improvement General Obligation Bond for the fiscal year 2027 city budget. Council members will also consider a resolution authorizing Mayor Eberline to sign an estimate for the GoGov app for text alerts and notifications.
The council will discuss an ordinance that would amend Chapter 18.01 regarding the city clerk and Chapter 21.01 concerning the public works director. Officials may set a public hearing on the ordinance for March 2.
Additional items include fiscal year 2027 budget preparations. The council will also consider approving mayoral appointments to the Board of Adjustments. Trevor Schellhorn would fill a term ending Dec. 31, 2026, and Erik Freese would fill a five-year term ending Dec. 31, 2030.
The meeting is set to begin at 6:30 p.m in the City Hall Council Chambers.
