
An update to a story from earlier Tuesday: St. Paul’s Lutheran School will now be closed an additional day due to illness-related absences.
The school had previously announced it would be closed Wednesday, February 18th, because of a high number of student absences related to illness. In an email sent Tuesday afternoon to RadioOnTheGo News, school officials said that following additional consultation, the closure has been extended to include Thursday, February 19th.
In an earlier statement, the school said the decision was made with the well-being of the school community in mind, emphasizing that the health of students, staff and families is its top priority.
